In this world one has to make a name for himself. A catchy name works best - thus Ferrero didn't hesitate to replace the "Refreshing Mints" name with "Tic Tac".
1980
Eighties were the time of breaking through the walls of old - both for the world and for Tic Tac as well. Sales sky-rocketed in emerging markets, expanding Tic Tac to a total of five continents, and the introduction of new flavours were the marks of good times for the most popular Mints around the globe.

Nineties were the times of steady growth. Tic Tac had become one of the most popular confectionery products in the world. It was like something out of a film – the rise of a small Mint to a worldwide renowned refreshment giant - nothing could slow Tic Tac down. As the brand matured, the flavour range evolved to delight and surprise its loyal fan base. Mint, Lime & Orange, Special Editions - Tic Tac has it all!
2000
Always fresh, always together, always a successful team. We still remember the warm round of applause given to Cherry Passion, Extra Strong Mint… Since then, we aim please our fan base with a variety new flavours, and - to our delight - they receive the warmest of welcomes.

Juno, Dr Doolittle, Airheads, To Rome with Love - yes, Tic Tac made it to the silver screen. To the small screen as well - Tic Tac has graced the likes of Friends, Will & Grace, The Simpsons and even Dr House.
